Workshop Fequently Asked Questions
What safety measures are being taken to prevent the spread of Covid 19?
The workshop will align itself with state and local guidelines regarding group size and spacing. If mask wearing is not mandated by state or local governments, dancers are still welcome to wear masks if they so desire. Additionally, we ask that any participants remain home if members of their household come down with undiagnosed symptoms of illness, or are diagnosed with Covid 19.
Will there be a parent watch day/demo?
No. To maximize number of participants within health limitations, there will be no opportunity for parent watch or demos. Students will be encouraged to "perform" in smaller groups for the participants of the workshop.
Are there refunds for missed classes? Can classes be pro-rated if we know there is one in the session my dancer will miss?
Because the workshop runs for only 3 days and participation is strictly limited, it is hoped that participants will be able to attend all classes. Classes/days will not be prorated. However, if a dancer or anyone in his or her household needs to miss due to Covid related symptoms or diagnosis, a 75% refund will be issued for missed classes less the $10 registration fee.
What should my dancer wear?
Dress code for the workshop is solid color leotards and pink or black tights for the women with hair pulled back into a neat bun; compression shirts and black or grey tights for the men. Pointe is optional.
